Finishing Workshop

Service Description

Take your projects from “nearly finished” to beautifully complete in this practical Finishing Workshop for knitters and crocheters. We’ll focus on the techniques that make the biggest difference to the final look and fit of your work. You’ll learn how to join and assemble knitted and crocheted pieces neatly (including seaming and joining methods), how to weave in ends securely, and how to block both knitting and crochet to improve drape, shape, and stitch definition. Bring your own works-in-progress and get guidance on the best finishing approach for your specific project. Please bring some or all of the following: - A knit garment (or pieces) ready for sewing - Crochet squares/pieces to join - Blocking boards and pins (if you have them) - Stitch markers - Darning/tapestry needles - Crochet hooks
